A boy!

Congratulations to Sara and Bobby on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy. Kiernan Cole Hackney was born at 7:27am on Wednesday, September 21 after a whirlwind four hours of labor. He is 8lbs 5oz. Everyone is happy and well.

Art Helps Auction for Katrina

Jager Di Paola Kemp Design will host Art Helps, an art auction to benefit the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. The event will be held Friday, September 23, 2005, 5-9 p.m., at JDK's 47Sanctuary Gallery. All proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity International. Artwork will available for viewing online starting Wednesday, September 21. Bids will be accepted via email until 4:30 p.m. on September 23. Art Helps will feature work generously donated by national and local artists, Evan Hecox, Geoff McFetridge, Mark Andrew, and Trevor Graves and many JDK employees. Local band The Cush will play live at 7:30.

Hinda running for Mayor

Our friend and fellow yogi, Hinda Miller will be officially announcing her candidacy for Mayor of Burlington tomorrow. Please join her Tuesday, September 20 at 2pm on the terrace at Union Station (One Main Street), Burlington. Introduction by Madeleine Kunin.
