Jivamukti focus

Each month, Jivamukti founders Sharon Gannon and David Life offer a focus of the month for their teachers and classes throughout the world. July's focus, Planting a Sound Garden speaks of our actions as vibrations or sounds and the way in which "the content of our own minds has a direct effect on the harmony or disharmony we find in the world around us".
Given the chaos of the world today, seemingly insurmountable and overwhelming, we can easily fall into a feeling of futility, with that can come a sense of detachment from responsibility. We must not surrender our power in a time of crisis. Our thoughts and actions do bear fruit. We are reminded of the significance of our individual yoga practice. Of the practices of many. Of consistent and commited practice right here in Burlington, and around the world.
Sofi leads Jivamukti Yoga Classes four times a week at the studio. Summer Schedule:Sundays at 5pm, Wednesday and Fridays at Noon and Thursdays at 5:40pm. Today at the studio, Kripalu (Emily) at noon, Jivamukti (Sofi), Ashtanga (Kathy), Kripalu (John) at 5:40pm this evening and Vinyasa (Sheehan) at 7:30pm.
Your practice generates change in the world. Believe that.
